Okay, I need some input of you anime genuises. There is one thing confusing me right now: In Naruto there is a group, called the Seven Sword Ninja of the Mist. But now comes the part I'm struggling: Even so in German TV we haven't had all of Naruto Shippuden yet am I playing the newest game which of course is spoiling me the story. But I can't help myself but to count 9 Sword Ninja of the Mist: Kushimaru Kuriarare; Mangetsu Hozuki; Ameyuri Ringo; Fuguki Suikazan; Jinin Akebino; Jinpachi Munashi; Zabuza Momochi; Kisame Hoshigaki; Suigetsu Hozuki Can someone tell me where my thinking mistake is? Okay, sure, one name appears twice so it could be the son of the original one. But even then are there 8 names left . . .

Well I'm still watching Shippuuden, but I can tell you that Suigetsu Hozuki is some kid, Orochimaru experimented on, so I would count him as Sword Ninja of the Mist. I don't know about the other ones yet.

I'm up to 10 names already. Guess I have a hard thinking mistake on this one... For me sound the Seven Sword Ninjas of the Mist like a fixed and unique group, kinda like the Three Legendary Sanin. But with 10 names already... are they maybe more like a organisation with varying members that have a limit on seven at a time? I've played Ninja Storm 3 which brought most of the names up and am watching Shippuden season 5 atm slowly nearing the 4th great war - but no explanation on this matter at all. Even so the Sword Ninjas are brought to name here and there pretty since the beginning of Naruto (Zabuza) ... It's.. still confusing me. Wonder if an explanation is written in the manga's? Anyone? *kitty eyes*

I'd go with the theory of a fixed number with varying members. Membership might be bound to the sword, since suigetsu is trying to collect all the seven swords.
