Just out of curiousity, are all your usernames M2-something? That's quite a neat system. So if I see an user called M2 something, I can safely assume it'll be you? I mean I go by a few but KK is the one I'm most pleased with and I believe I'm still the only one.

Good question kreuz, never assume online xD M2 is also a gun (i keep picturing M4 gun) and bmw make, a nice bmw i might add www.fileden.com/files/2006/8/29/193541/Clan Stuff/icons/Kamina.gif[/img] ....especially that time where that guy opened a twitter in my name and anime image with a link to my real playfire. lol scary. I dither in name for security purposes //ninja// funny enough, if it wasnt for my firs. ever youtube ban back in 2006 i wouldn't have ever progressed to this name/signature, which begs the question, how did people come up with their names

No.About my nick: At first I named myself MDGeist after the anime After a while I shortened it to just Geist. As this name was mostly taken I used Geisted as alternativ. On of my school mates called me Dangerous Dan because my name is Daniel and at that time I used to run around in a leather jacket with spiky studs. That name was sometimes taken too so I took Dancing Dan since my favourite band is The Dancing Did.

Yeah I remember that time when you found out someone stole your username. It really is odd why (s)he linked it to your playfire account too.
I suppose Kryzz does somewhat resemble your name. Nevertheless, I've always liked the usernames more when it includes alphabets like 'x' or 'z'. So are you the only Kryzz in the world? As for Malice, I'm sure there are more than one around.
Haha, Dangerous Dan. Dancing makes you sound more friendly.

An interesting sub-topic was forming in the "Social Networking" thread asking that very question.
So, share!

I had an idea for a t-shirt that had speakers in it, a bit like the bags, but as if it were an actual boombox dreaming. Hence dreaminstereo. Also, around the same time, I wrote a short short story with the phrase in and had one of those 'that's such an awesome phrase' moments.

On my old phone, its camera had the label 'Kreuznach ' and Kross was a username my brother uses from time to time. So I snatched it and combined the two. Now I have double cross for kreuz being the German word for cross and kross really is just the Mortal Kombat-fied version of cross.

I got mine from Metal Gear Solid (1), once you get the cardboard box Snake can equip it and run around in it and that's the first thing I thought of (a man in a box) when I went to sign up for SOCOM 1 network play xD But Smosh came out with Boxman song and people got the misconception that I took my username from them =/ so I changed it, kept the Box part and added my favourite colour into the mix and thus the monster that is CrimsonBox was born =P

I just realised I haven't elaborated on mine yet.
An American girl gave it to me around about 6/7 years ago.

@kaito, so that's good you got the name before the hype. Exactly, although it's annoying trying to sign up with the name nowadays as some Vocaloid will have nabbed the username already.

There also seems to be a recent trend in naming anime characters Kaito: Kirishima Kaito of Ano Natsu de Matteru Daimon Kaito of Phi Brain

Post by Jjos on Mar 10, 2012 8:47:48 GMT
My name was created on the release day of the PS2 here in Germany.
I went visiting my best friend on this day with absolutely no idea that it was the release day. I catched him luckily cause he came back from shopping with his parents just half an hour ago and was invited to stay. After some connecting with the TV and maintaining the settings did we start his first game: Ridge Racer V
However, this game asked for a team name to enter besides of a driver name (and also gave a nickname option for the driver). We discussed a little and eventually came up with the following team name: Judges of Scum - this was the day "JoS" was born (please don't ask HOW we got on this name - I can't remember). But there was still the question of the nickname for the driver, so we discussed a little more and called his driver per nickname "XCjos" - which basicly means: X = he is the leader of JoS; C = his first name; jos = Judge of Scum. And based of this method did we create my name as well which was simply Jjos (no X cause I wasn't the leader).
He later changed his username a few times. We tried to play as JoS in some games (primary the SOCOM games for PS2) but with no real success and joined other clans. Later in MAG we used "C&J" as new tag for the Judges of Scum cause we learned that we aren't that great in organization and are way better playing as 2-person team. We also wanted to use "C&J" for BF3 - but the battlelog couldn't take the "&" so we re-used "JoS" as tag.
That's basicly the whole story about my name and the story about our own clan which turned out to be just a 2-person dream-team in nearly every game we decided to play online.

That quite interesting actually. I particularly like the combination of username+clan name, and you both (or just you) stuck to that clan name for all these years.
