- Microsoft was a bit bleh, started fairly ok, they seem to be doing well for America in regards to sports coverage I guess. Though the bbc part was a lie, it's a free player service even my belkin media box has built in :/
Game wise, Halo4 biggest hitter, Splintercell as well!
not sure why they covered Tomb Raider, they don't own it :/ but loved the archery and gameplay!! definitely my highlight!
Xbox SmartGlass sounded neat but VERY limited (to me) and the announcement of Internet Explorer......LoL what a bomb (bad) really I was wanting a microphone voice recognition only announcement!!! as in just the mic, not the full kinect.
ending with blackops2 was REALLY WEIRD. He made it sound like an exclusive :S

I didn't watch it, but I saw the videos of the Tomb Raider gameplay - very impressive! I can see the obvious Uncharted influence in the reboot but I think it'll be a great return to form for the franchise.

"The Last of us" gameplay right at the end of the sony conference was definitely the best highlight by far. Still trying to understand why on earth, almost half an hour about "wonder book" lol... far cry multiplayer also looked bland to me (kind of generic) but the studio had a good concept to prolong the gameplay. Lastly, I laughed a bit at the Smash Bros copy with fat princess XD //Intro was a downer

Oooh, I need to see the Sony conference. I'm sure it'll be on Gamespot or something like that. Will actually watch the full thing of that when I get chance today.
It's a shame that the 3D monitors they mentioned last year haven't really become prominent at all (actually don't even know if they're out yet). They were a really good entry point for the 3D market.

I think Japan has them already, no idea if they're out in the West yet though. Nintendo are currently leading in my view with their pre-E3 WiiU video. Microsoft had nothing exclusive of interest, EA...aren't ever worth mentioning, Sony didn't have much. At least Ubisoft had info on the Assassin's Creed III spin-off and a new Rayman game. I still need to pick up Rayman: Origins. Are Capcom doing a thing this year? I haven't been kicked in the nuts by them for at least a month now...

Nintendo really shouldn't of revealed their system last year when they really didn't have any major games to show, they've just let their rivals take their ideas >_>
I'm liking how RE6 is turning out. It seems they're finally getting back to the more survival horror side.

Sony's was a farce. You have a struggling handheld and you show almost nothing for it? It looks like Crytek were right about the Vita.

Well, I'm watching Sony's now and Beyond looks great, same with the Vita-exclusive Assassin's Creed: Liberation (but maybe that's just because it's a MAIN female character that isn't being sexualised purely for a male audience).
Still waiting for The Last Of Us to come up, that's going to be the major thing here.
Wonderbook looks a little gimmicky but as a book lover, I think it could be really fun. If I had younger siblings/kids, it'd definitely be a win, not to mention JK Rowling's collaborating with them.

Oh, the Last of Us looked really good. Wasn't excited at first because it looked like an Uncharted reskin, but then it showed off limited ammo and inventory stuff. Kinda got me excited.
Beyond looked pretty, but Quantic Dream so meh.

Anyone noticed that the PS Controller wasn't even on when Ubisoft were showing off Far Cry 3?
When Usher / Rapper guy showed up, I was wondering do the people actually know who these people are or the songs playing? I mean the audience is likely to be nerds/gamers/middle age people.
I don't know how I feel about Beyond. I didn't like Heavy Rain as much as I thought I would. Beyond looks like it's dealing with an even more serious plot/tone. The trailer suggests something actually happens, rather than the character just walking around interacting with things like in HR. In addition, I do like the idea of Ellen Page as the main character but the demo they showed us hardly gave her a chance to shine.
The Last of Us looks like a much better version of I am alive.
No one mentioned GOW IV? I like their gameplay style, kind of wished they dropped Kratos, introduced a new character and made a sequel instead. Another prequel seem like a cheap way to reuse kratos and some enemies. I hope the story makes up for it.
As for WiiU, the smartglass app by Microsoft seems like a much more sensible idea than whatever WiiU is doing. Aren't people just gonna stare at their pad cointroller and neglect the screen? In the Rayman demo it just looks like one person has all the fun while the others do nothing and stare at the TV.

The Last Of Us looks AWESOME. That's gonna be a day 1 purchase for me, I think.

Agreed The Last of Us looks amazing, mainly because I love the survival/horror genres.
Usher was out of place so I muted him and did other things xD
Beyond looked to have more action than Heavy Rain. There was a time when I wanted to play Heavy Rain alas the ending was spoilt for me ¬_¬
@kk You don't like the Wii U premise? I'm sure Nintendo will find a balance for usage of both the controllers screen and the TV screen in their games.
What did you guys n girls think of Ubi's new IP Watch Dogs? I loved the look of the demo they showcased.

I'm watching the Ubisoft conference on my next break from cleaning From what I've heard people say about Watch Dogs, it sounds ACE. AND a brand new LBP Karting trailer. Not elaborating too much on what's previously been shown but I'm pretty excited about this:
