So we've read that since MU got shutdown, other file hosters are also either shutting down themselves down, deleting user content on mass, restricting uploads only or restricting US access in fear of prosecution. Which file hosters do people tend to use? (or find themselves pointed towards)-Other than MU and MF, i tend to find alot hosting on: depositfile /also all these damn captchas and waiting times (1hr per file on some sites) are killing me loldid you know there are file hosters specifically designed for phone and portable devices?

Hotfile is one that gets used a lot.
I don't mind too much, just so long as Mediafile doesn't get shut down. Other wise getting smaller files like patches, or save files will be unbearable.

Captcha are tedious to deal with. However, that along with interval wait times can be eliminated by using third party sites. You can find a bunch of time by typing into Google "<insert host site name> premium account generator". And results like tigerleech, megaleech etc. comes up. Most fail to work. But the 2 I mentioned works. I recommended rapid8 to Malice before, but don't use that, that site is now filled with viruses.
FS or FS normally, sometimes MF. A lot of people moved away from using MU for some reason even though their service still remains the best.

I recommended rapid8 to Malice before, but don't use that, that site is now filled with viruses. Arsing site kept trying to redirect me. If you disable the scripts it can't do that, but then the site itself can't do it's magic, so you have to enable scripts then disable them before closing the window

@kreuz, yeh i loved my MU script, captchas auto filled every time :[
did try those prem generating sites (for mu) NOTHING WORKED. all very suspicious too...
I've noticed the timer on most sites to be actually SLOWER than normal, you know when it counts down from xx, they are more than a second xD one site even STOPS the countdown if you go to another tab! lmao smart and very annoying.... possible hotfile

well UK has officially banned piratebay, today is the first time i've ever seen my isp interfere with my browsing *5seconds later uses a proxy* rather amusing but a pain.
"In November 2011, the BPI asked the group of ISPs to voluntarily block access to the site.
The request followed a court order to block Newzbin 2, a site also offering links to download pirated material.
The ISPs said they would not block the site unless a court order was made, as is now the case."
I am content.

I seem to remember a time when it actually had stuff on it but lately you can search pretty much anything and it won't be there. Like they do all of this showing off 'we don't give a crap and won't shut down' shit but in reality have probably taken down most of those torrents themselves *shakes head* I might care when isohunt gets shut down

yeh but what is going to stop them from filing all the rest?? p2p can never be stopped but if they ban all the yokels or simple folk, it's certainly going to reduce the seed group, then every publisher will raise prices again, and were back to mini compact disks and reconditioned gamecubes lol (my friend used to turn his upside down in order to read the disk) xD

Like Malice said, I couldn't care less if Piratebay is banned or not. But not b/c I can't find what I'm looking for there, it is the fact that whatever is on that site can be found elsewhere. Plus, their reputation is ruined ages ago.
Same goes for isohunt. It's terrible, now. Torrentz satisfies my needs. It sits like right in the centre of the spiderweb connecting to all the torrent sites, in addition to that it displays the latest.
To be honest, even if the anime site dies, you can just track/follow the subgroups (yeah, there will always be someone subbing) then either regularly check their site or search with their torrent tag [sage] for example from time to time on sites like isohunt etc.
