But where would you put the remaining threads; recently bought games, zero punctuation, phishing, frustrations then? sort of need it to hold the leftovers n polls etc/
i think steam in the title looks alright, magority of us are on it, serves as a reminder and is publicly visable to guests (but not the content), can always name change it later. multiplayer by itself was pretty low on content, just mainly minecraft+spiralknights, i'll leave it as it is for now n see how this setup goes

If a section looks bare then surely it's our job to fill it with interesting discussions, not to lump it with an irrelevant subject area "because it looks better".

also PS3, XBox and 3DS sure got multiplaya, too.
and I'd add a 'news' or something like that section to kaitos suggestions, since some might open news threads about a game (like I did with a few games) and if they're multiplatform it would be stupid to add the thread to each section. the news section could also contain the promotions & goodies thread.

If you are setting up multiplayer matches/sessions then it goes in the 'Multiplayer' section. If you're discussing about a game's multiplayer then it goes into either the 'Console&Portable' or 'PC' section.
Kaito's 'General Gaming' is the same idea as Dan's 'News' thread.
I don't know if there is any point. The threads inside the 'Game Discussion' are mostly steam/PC related. As for the ones Vash has mentioned, those can be moved to General b/c they are social topics of some sort. Finding out what you recently played/bought...
Most multi-platform games are only on console + portable, only a certain amount are on PC too. If that case occurs then it depends on which platform the user wants to talk about as PC + Console get different contents so that's a factor to differentiate the two. I'm sure that is a rare case though. OR[/u] ...have PC bundled with Consoles and portable get its own section as less console games are being ported to portable devices. With the release of Vita, it will have a lot of its launch title that we won't see on the console.

The Christmas design is nice, although, you'll have to explain the random girl at the bottom with the big jugs...of beer.

I just thought of something. While all these new banners are lovely shouldn't they be offered as alternative themes rather than changing and becoming the standard for the "Red" theme?

I'm too used to playfire olden days xD I get what you're saying, but this way, people who are lazy or dont know about an alternative theme benefit, as well as passers by. but if you find it too destracting i can whip up an original agc theme for others to use (fate stay wallpaper).

I still think the forums could be better organised - Two sub-forums would do for the Anime section: General Anime Discussion (What're we watching, news, etc) and replace seasonal with a forum for Specific Anime Series/Film Discussion would work nicely. Something similar would work for the Games section: General Game discussion and Multiplayer Mayhem (Match arrangement, Minecraft server, MK7 community, etc) In other words, Multiplayer matchmaking gets it own sub forum and the rest are merged into one. Thoughts? I'm sick of being unable to find threads because they could end up in any one of three sub forums.
And yes KK, a new banner contest would be nice.
