It becomes even better: Sony targets the end of May to reactivate the PSN again - and I doubt they will catch this date. This means, that we won't had any PSN during May. And this means, that I won't get my free PS+ stuff for May in which case the appologize of 2 free games isn't an appologize but the PS+ stuff for May.
And this means: Sony won't appologize to PS+ members! They are even more evil then me.

Fallout 3: GoTY edition for me. Doesn't seem to load the starting quest for Point Lookout and every time I head over there to check it out myself it crashes just beside Rivet City. Sigh. Also noticed a few people complaining about Fallout 3: GoTY on the first page. Question: are you running it on the PC? It seems to crash frequently on computers that use more than two processors. There is a fix for that, thankfully.
Also Breath of Fire II. I cannot seem to get the good ending with the fight involving the old man and the three eye-laser things since I just get frustrated and nuke the whole lot of them. It annoys me! >_<

Newest one for me is Brink and your team AI. The enemy AI is really competent but when it comes to your own they may as well be standing targets at times. The game pretty much forces you to play online if you want to have any attempt at beating the campaign.

I'll get my pre-ordered copy of Brink by today. And what I've read about the AI so far: They won't disarm a bomb but shoot on the enemies instead. They stay behind and you have to charge the enemies alone. Honestly: this isn't bad AI - this is what I realized in many hundred hours of MAG in 90% of the random teammates. This isn't bad AI but AI based on the general actions of random players in teamplay-based online shooters.
For me will it be like coming home from MAG to Brink this evening *smiles* I'm used to this kind of teammates and that I have to work partial alone. Besides: Take this as training for future online play. If you manage to win with this AI are you also able to play good against human players ;-)

The game pretty much forces you to play online if you want to have any attempt at beating the campaign. Same for me. Just played for the first time. I tried the challenges and the first one in second star difficulty was almost impossible. Hacking target was almost in enemy spawn zone. I kill most of them, turn around to place the hacking device and get shot to death. I look behind and see two of my teammates standing around doing nothing... The enemy AI is pretty annoying. They come over, stand still to aim at you, you aim at them and as you fire they move around and Brink characters aren't exactly slow moving...

That's why I won't be getting Brink - the hilariously awful AI. My friend got it almost immediately and hated it, and seeing it at that point firsthand just put me off it.

Actually the Brink AI is excellent. Finished both campaigns on hard by now, had to replay some levels up to 6 times or so because hard means hard. The AI acts by themselfs, aims for the primary and secondary targets, tries to revive you as often as possible, do buff you and the team and is doing all things you would expect from a human player as well.
However, it has a few problems: they sometimes defend secondary targets which result in one or two teammates standing there and doing nothing (they do defend). Or if they catch up a tranportable main target will they often not activate it at the target point when enemies are nearby (they do shot the enemies instead of doing the targets - but that consequently through the entire game).
But beside of these two things is Brink AI pretty good and hard means hard. It's also real fun to play. Beside: Brink is mainly online based and you can play the campaign online as well with no need to play with bots. And since the PSN is coming back today (area for area) will online start soon.
Brink - as fun shooter as it meant to be - is a pretty solid and funny game that is worth the buy without any doubt. The AI may sometimes act "strange" but is beside of that pretty good - which doesn't really matter if you aim to play it online with human players.

Jjos, I swear on my life that when I tested it on my friend's comp my AI allies ran into a random room. They weren't defending anything, they just ran into a room and stood there like idiots. The AI on the enemy team always seems to work well - hard is indeed hard and I've fallen many times to enemy AI - but the allied AI just seems to be thick as mince.

Anything involving the A.I. or other players in Lost Planet 2.
The A.I. is a bit on the thick side and other players are just too good for me... >_<
