Well I was mainly looking for an app that played 720p mkv xD but the sure the more codecs it can player the better. I'm pretty happy with Oplayer anyway despite some videos lagging. Whhatt.. what kinda amazing source is that.. Any other good apps going to be free?
Yea still thinking about it. wow didn't know it could do emulators ++ for me haha, I'm guessing its a touchscreen gamepad. Also the big question I was worried about, I heard that security is weaker if you do break it so there is a chance you could a virus on it, is it true?

Also the big question I was worried about, I heard that security is weaker if you do break it so there is a chance you could a virus on it, is it true? It doesnt make it insecure, infact, theres a patch to MAKE it secure xD (pdf exploit) What they were likely referring to was, there is an option to install a command console, allowing direct access to the root code by pc and basically, every i device has the same username n pw for the root, so IF you go n install it and dont chnage the pw then yes, a person could hack it, tbh i have that console, no pw change for like 3yrs lol anyway i can unistall or turn it off whenever i wish xD n amazing app as in the all close button? Yeh its free n great!, along with portrait mail in 2 windows (msg list and preview), and fake clock up where it speeds up app launching animation, but there are sources where you can "try" any for free ;P adblocking is great... or tweaks like unlock to homescreen N i know nes is free, touchpad controls for all emulators work great! Just sucks up some power, gba highly recommended :<

Yeah I am. Just a way of letting the person know how much they've tipped as neighbours can tip more than randomers. But I mean I check the news everyday so I know who's tipped regardless of them leaving a message or not.
Lol yeah, made like 30 virtual restaurant buddies. Some really high level, some have stunning layouts, some Korean.

I looked at that, somehow it feels like a facebook game. Venture Towns is a good city sim just a shame that the game doesn't track your scores after 15 (in-game) years.

Bought Mass Effect Infiltrator as a post exam treat. Pretty good so far. Heard it suffered from control problems earlier. I've yet to experience such a problem. They must have fixed it.

Have to mentioned, scribblenauts is quite amazing on ipad, the level difficulty dithers randomly in levels but it is excellent for young kids.
I was guiding one of my younger cousins, helps improve their spelling, creativity and problem solving whilst still being fun, but we didn't enjoy the emphasis on government in some of the levels :/ those were difficult and boring, you try explaining to a young kid what makes up a government, why we need it, and what they need...on the moon XD lol
too short though.

I bought AVPlayer for the iPad after giving up with pps and the default player. PPS is useless to me if I have to search in simplified chinese for everything and it added region lock.
avplayer supports all format, even rmvb so that's brilliant. It also supports subtitles so that's a plus.

well any good? I've had it for a while alongside their 'air' app (for media streaming) haven't had the oppotunity to push them, how does it cope with hd mkv's? might stick a couple of testers on it later.
on a side note, metal slug is awesome on ipad xD but controls are so difficult to get used to! definitely would be worth £2.50. also the hd version of tiny wings is AMAZING. Truly I loved the original on iphone but it's actually expanded for online multiplayer o.0

I haven't played any HD files yet. I only have 1 GB or so spare on my iPad. But I am curious so I will put it to the test tomorrow.
Though I have read it lags with HD MKV, I am almost certain it will be fine with HD avi.
All I have been using it with is: - rmvb (which lags alittle and that can be helped with using the speed up speech option and you really have to pay enough attention to notice it being sped up) - avi (plays fine and works with .srt subtitles. .sub & .idx doesn't work however)
Gesture are there to fast/rewind 10secs just like KMPlayer which I like very much, along with other gestures like alter screen size, volume up/down, speed up speech. There isn't one to pause the video which I wanted, but not a big deal.
It is worth the money. Easy to use. Beats carrying my laptop around.
Damn I wanna try metal slug for iPad!

Since the update, standard definition rmvb and mkv files runs fine, no need to turn up the speed. However, for smoe rmvb there is no sound. It is a somewhat isolated/rare case though.
I've yet to try HD avi / mkv. Like before, I would assume HD avi is fine, but mkv will lag.
Bought Random Heroes recently, relatively short game and the coins can easily be farmed. Still fairly fun though.
Also found The Heist after checking out Vash's profile. It's like a collection of all puzzle games put into a heist story, worth checking out if you like puzzles.
