But classes are just for start aren't they? I could have made a knight and skilled him for pyro magic. But you seem to love PvP, Minato. How do you fight others? do you show yourself and do it duell-like or do you just grief around and kill people from behind to ruin their game? (I don't exactly know how this black phantom stuff works) I would be really angry if I collect souls and someone invades my world and kills me oO

Most of these are from Forest Invasions and when you're human you can get invaded. I wouldn't work to well as a knight and magic user since you need to spend levels on dex/end to use some good equipment if not you hit really weak. I've been backstab by pyros and it didnt even made me flinch

Im not a fan of the PvP or being invaded, so I'll just hang around as hollow most of the time with my dex build, Iaitos and light armour ^^ I'd have my ass handed to me with my current build =/ I guess the spear may help with an invasion. Also Im looking for an Uchigatana anyone know where I can find one?

got invaded two times by the same person, some asshole waiting at one spot to annoy people. I stay hollow for now. So do you know how this humanity thing works? I heard the more humanity you hold (not the items) the better your drop rate is. Your drop rate also increases while being human. So does humanity increase drop rate while being a hollow or only in human form? I'm farming souls with basilisks right know and want to build myself some maho and raw weapons. I also bought all the pyro magics from the trader in firelink shrine and upgraded my flame to +5.

Yea I got invaded when I was in the Catacombs, probably the worst fight ever.. I accidently rolled of the edge to my death x.x fail... Also got called in to invade someone by the cat convenant and I swear the other phantom killed me with his fire :/
I heard when your in human form your drop rate increases aswell but im not entirely sure if the humanity count still works in undead form. Though just now I got 2 titanite shards and a buckler instead the usualy 1 titanite drop all while in phantom form with 2 humanity, so it could still work.
Also guys beware of entering the Painted World you can't get out until you get to a certain part, I spent ages in there dying and losing my souls trying to get out T_T those birds are so evil!

Yeah I went into the painted world as well. I got to bonfire and I was so happy since I only had one flask sip. I ran back to the start and I tested out jumping off the bridge to get back...It didnt work. so there I went exploring this creepy place.
Those Raven Monster I so disturbing, but I did manage to kill them. I made it to the end and I was tempted to attack but I just wanted to get out. So I ignored it and escaped

Found out that the guy who invaded me was a NPC black phantom, Knight of Thorns Kirk! This time I killed him but didn't get any loot I made myself a +1 raw battle axe. Almost same damage as Drake sword. But R2 vertical swing is more useful in crowded spaces. I go for +5 raw battle axe and then farm for Domhall's Armor set.

I wouldn't say the Pyro is overpowered (pyro-player). Yes the spells do a lot of damage, yes they don't require any stats, and yes the glove is pretty cheap to upgrade but.... uh... no hold on. Well the spells have barely any reach and are slow as hell, also some bosses and enemies have high fire resistance (Spider-b****). Currently I'm struggling with Sen's Fortress. After finally getting competent at the fighting the game starts throwing traps at me instead

Minato Yea damn those birds. I've still not managed to kill a single one, once they jump on my head its over .. I got ganged up on that long staircase and lost 30k lol Quelaags furysword +5 :DDDD I got pure love for this sword. btw that Uchigatana katana can be bought when you join that cat convenant or by killing the first the merchant seller. True pyro is a bit slow but faster than the lightning bolts, I think the distance makes up for the time though. The combustion spell does decent damage so pyro is pretty good for close-range aswell. Sen's Fortress looks daunting at first but its a pretty nice place. First time I entered I instantly killed by those trap arrows lol I hope you find the cheeky lil fireplace thats hidden away before the boss. If your really having trouble with it we can see if you can summon to help ^^

Iaito > Things that aren't Iaito
The arrow traps aren't so bad, after the Shrine in Demon's Souls I know how to deal with them. Actually... They're even better in Dark Souls because it's easy to guide the Serpent-men into the path of the arrows. The hard part is the narrow paths with swinging axes D:

I found Sen's Fortress quite funny, partly because the serpent men are kinda stupid running into traps set up for me for no reason at all and falling off of narrow ledges by backstepping xD Im loving the Iaito but im not sure what path to take it down.
Thanks for the Uchi info akai, I don't wanna kill the first merch he sells me arrows T_T guess I'll have to look into the forest hunter covenant if I can't find one lying around somewhere =/ Ideally I'd love to dual wield upgraded Iaito and Uchi =3

@box, I think you can revive people you killed with an item from the merchant on Undead Church Bell Tower

Nope. There are no ways to bring dead NPCs back (except for one, but that's "story" related), if you kill them they're gone until NG+

lol gaping dragon was easy, even helped two other people defeating it. didn't know that you get souls from fighting bosses as helping phantom. I made it to the bonfire in the swamps. I hated blight town. Lost 17k souls because I fell down somewhere because that place is glitchy and on my way back to my loot I fell down again because of some glitches... It's nice when you walk along a path and the camera changes without your doing and you walk straight over the ledge...

Blighttown is a blight on the game.
