Hard Choices Facing NintendoI didn't think each Gamecube/Wii unit sold was actually making profit compared to its competitors. But I do think Nintendo should take Sega's approach even though having them around keeps Sony's price down in the handheld market and plays a role in the price war between consoles. Tekken 3D Prime Edition Officially Coming To Nintendo 3DS[spoiler2=article] Bandai Namco Games has announced today that Tekken is officially coming to the Nintendo 3DS. The game also includes the Tekken movie Tekken Blood Vengeance which is view-able in 3D. Bandai Namco announced the news during Gamescom 2011.[/spoiler2] Revelations For Early 2012 And Stunning New Gameplay Footage[spoiler2=article] Straight out of this years Gamescom event in Germany comes some exclusive new footage of the frankly stunning Resident Evil: Revelations. The game is currently scheduled for release sometime in early 2012. Don’t you wish all Nintendo 3DS games looked as good as this? [/spoiler2] You Can’t Offer Free Software Such As Demos On The Nintendo 3DS eShop[spoiler2=article]Apparently third-party developers are unable to offer free software on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Developers can offer software at a minimum price but are unable to give away things for free. The limitation explains why third-party developers are unable to offer free demos similar to the ones found on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. If they wish to offer a demo then it will be priced at 200 yen ($2)[/spoiler2]

Nintendo 3DS: Second Analogue Stick Confirmed For Nintendo 3DS[spoiler2=article] We heard the rumours and now it turns out to be true, Nintendo are adding a second Circle Pad and triggers to the Nintendo 3DS. It’s not a revised model as previously thought but rather an attachment that slides underneath your Nintendo 3DS system. Personally I’d rather have a revised model than the attachment but that’s just my opinion. [/spoiler2] ^I still remember when the CEO said, we don't need a 2nd analog b/c the player can move the 3DS around to act as the camera. And now we have this ugly pad :/ Nintendo 3DS: Monster Hunter Tri 3G Confirmed For Nintendo 3DS[spoiler2=article] Along with the announcement of the Nintendo 3DS gaining a second analogue peripheral comes the news that Monster Hunter Tri 3G will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS this year. The game is an adaptation of Monster Hunter Tri for Wii and will reportedly feature 12 weapon classes, underwater battles, local multiplayer, potential online components, and will support the second analogue stick. Who’s excited?[/spoiler2]

It looks horrible =/
But after playing Mario Kart 3DS a few weeks ago, I'm DEFINITELY getting one after Christmas, when I have birthday/Christmas money to spend. It is possibly the best handheld instalment yet, much aided by the analog stick!

What colour?
Yea, Zelda can wait as there is nothing left to do once you have completed the story (the game even wipes your data). That is unless you are interested to play the game again but in a mirrored and more difficult world.

I got Aqua Blue, would of gone for red but that 20% off was gunna run out T_T So... get Red VASH looks miles better in my opinion. I hope I made the right decision in getting a UK instead of US.. still hoping for Devil Survivor Overclocked to make it over here despite original DS ver. not making it.. Still pretty annoyed by that decision to region lock it. I mean DSi is region locked right(?) but for some reason they didn't region lock DS games for the 3DS >_> Are there any games you guys recommend?

Nintendo 3DS: Nintendo Is Now Highlighting The Fact That You Can Play The Nintendo 3DS In 2D In Latest Advertisement[spoiler2=article] Nintendo Europe’s latest advertisement for the Nintendo 3DS highlights the fact that you can play Nintendo DS games in 2D and that you turn off the 3D whilst playing Nintendo 3DS games. Whether this is evidence that Nintendo are moving away from highlighting the 3D functionality of the machine remains to be seen. [/spoiler2] Nintendo: Yuji Naka’s Promising Rodea The Sky Soldier For Wii And 3DS Is Complete, Waiting On Publisher[spoiler2=article] Yuji Naka, the creator behind Sonic and Nights, has told Siliconera that the extremely promising Rodea The Sky Soldier for Wii and Nintendo 3DS is 100% complete but he’s waiting on Kadokawa Games to announce when it’s going to be released. “Rodea the Sky Soldier has been finished for awhile now. My part at Prope has been done. Now it’s up to Kadokawa Games to decide on the release strategy whether it will be come out for North America, Europe, and Japan.” “It’s finished as Wii title and as of now we have no plans to bring it to Wii U,” Naka answered. “Rodea was made specifically for the Wii so players could enjoy it by flicking the remote. If we tried to incorporate those controls into the large Wii U controller it wouldn’t be the same. I would really like for people to play and enjoy it on the Wii as I had originally intended.” [/spoiler2]

They need to stop making out like it's the only feature Still pretty annoyed by that decision to region lock it. I mean DSi is region locked right(?) but for some reason they didn't region lock DS games for the 3DS >_> Are there any games you guys recommend? DSi-only games are region locked but normal DS games arent locked, so you can play other region DS games on your DSi so long as they dont have the features like the camera (pokemon black and white etc). 3DS is the same dealy, you can't play DSi games from other regions on it but you can play DS games from other regions on it.. Yeah I'm annoyed I can't play japanese games on it. To the extent where I'd buy a 2nd japanese 3DS if I had the money
